We are back again with another community event in the city. All details are below.
We had organised a datajam in June. This time we are back with another event and we are delighted to announce that Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) has very kindly offered us a space within their premises. We will continue with the exploring, analyzing and visualizing data related to transportation and commute in Bangalore.
What did we do in our previous datajam?
5th October, 2019 | 10:00 am to 3:30 pm
What will we be doing?
The idea of the DataJam is to explore, analyze and understand the state of transportation and commuting in Bangalore using open data. You can either build on the existing projects or work on something totally new.
If you enjoy engaging with data and trying to make sense of it, come and join us. We will divide people in groups. Each group will have people from different backgrounds who will work together. Students are most encouraged to attend. This will be a great opportunity to learn new skills.
We will be publishing the data visualisations generated out of this event on Citizen Matters, Bengaluru’s top local news website.
